Charity Eligibility

This policy sets out the eligibility criteria for charities, trusts, foundations and non profit organizations "Charity or Charities" who wish to access and use TIME Platforms.

Who is eligible to join TIME as a charity:

In order to be eligible to join TIME as a charity, a charity or charitable foundation must meet TIME Platforms and TIME Platforms payment provider partners' KYC and onboarding requirements and be registered as a charity or other applicable registration in the jurisdiction in which the charity operates.

Any charity must fully comply with our Service Terms, Privacy Policy, Prohibited Activities Policy and TIME Money Back Guarantee Policy in order to be eligible for accessing and using TIME Platforms.

Any charity, trust, foundation, NGO and organization of profit or non-profit nature must not use TIME Platforms if you perform any of the activities described or related to our Prohibited Activities Policy. 

TIME Charity Tiers:

We run three tiers.

Charity Tier 3 (Promotion Only): This is the default tier for any charity that is accessing or using TIME Platforms. Tier 3 charities can create a profile, post videos that comply with our Service Terms and promote their charity. Tier 3 charities are not allowed to use TIME Platforms for raising money at any point through our platforms.

Charity Tier 2 (Eligible to Raise): This is a tier for an eligible charity who has been successfully through our extended KYC and onboarding requirement and received a Tier 2 status in writing from TIME Platforms Ltd. Tier 2 charities are allowed to use all monetization tools in order to raise and scale their charity earnings.

Charity Tier 1 (Ambassadorial Partnership): This is a tier for a limited number of eligible Tier 2 status charities who meet an extended KYC and onboarding requirement and meet Ambassadorial expectations in partnership with our CSR objectives.

Case by case verification:

TIME Platforms assesses all Charities on a case by case basis.

It is in our sole discretion to change a Charity's Tier or deny access to our platforms.

Actions by TIME Platforms:

If, in our sole discretion, we believe that you may have engaged in any violation of this Charity Eligibility Policy, we may (with or without notice to you) take such actions as we deem appropriate to mitigate risk to TIME Platforms and any impacted third parties and to ensure compliance with our Service Terms and Privacy Policy and Prohibited Activities Policy and this Charity Eligibility Policy. Such actions may include, without limitation:

  • Suspending, restricting or terminating your access to and use of the TIME Platforms.

  • Blocking the settlement or completion of one or more payments.

  • Terminating our relationship with you, including termination without liability to TIME Platforms of any form.

  • Taking legal action against you.

  • Contacting and disclosing information related to such violations to (i) persons who have engaged in respective activities with you, (ii) any banks or Card Networks involved with your activities, (iii) law enforcement or regulatory agencies, and (iv) other third parties that may have been impacted by such violations.

  • Assessing against you any fees, penalties, assessments or expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) that we may incur as a result of such violations, which you agree to pay promptly upon notice.

  • Changing a Charity's Tier.


Amendments:

This Charity Eligibility Policy may be amended by TIME Platforms at any time by posting a new version of it to our website. By accessing or using TIME Platforms after a new version is posted, you agree to all amendments reflected therein.
